Mini haul

Just a little post of a few things I've purchased over the past couple of weeks. You will probably notice, no clothes! That's because my wardrobe is chock-a-block, and I would be kidding myself if I actually thought I needed any more clothes! However that doesn't mean I can't shop for other things!

One place that I went to was The Body Shop, I love their Vitamin E range and my skin swears by their night cream in the winter months. I thought I'd try out the face mist this time, it's sold as a moisturiser and also a makeup setter. When I  used it the first thing I noticed was that it has gorgeous rose scent and it really refreshes your face. I'm not so big on the make-up setting claim but it definitely does make your face feel a lot more moisturised after spraying. It's a nice little pick up me to have in your bag or whilst on holiday.

I also picked up Revlon's Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup, you can check out the review here, and as I had a £5 No7 voucher I also bought their eye make-up remover. I do find it quite oily, it's not the best one on the market, but definitely not the worst, and as I only got it for a quid with my discount I can't complain!

I also bought a few homeware items in the sales, I got a big heart-shaped tin in the Next sale for £4, not quite sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but might use it as make-up/cosmetic storage. I also picked up some sparkly over the door hooks from Matalan, and a white flower candle holder from Wilko which I'm going to use to store my make-up brushes in...speaking of which....

One of my best purchases this week was the Real Techniques Core Collection make-up brushes. They really are worth the hype! They're so soft and the buffing brush is amazing at really getting your foundation to sink into your skin. I also love the fact that the brush holder also turns into a stand! Haha I'm easily pleased!

The Body Shop -Cucumber Freshening Water & Raspberry Ripple Bath & Shower Gel

Hello! Today was so windy and rainy the only thing to do was shop. (Like I need an excuse anyway!) So I just thought I'd show you some things I picked up..

The Body Shop had a half price sale on today so I picked up these beauties for £2 each..

The first item I bought was the Cucumber Freshening Water. I've been looking for a new facial toner for a while so I'm hoping that this one will be natural and kind to my skin, I'll keep you posted! Secondly I picked up the Raspberry Ripple Bath & Shower Gel, purely for the scent! I can't wait to use it, it smells so good!

I also picked this up in TK Maxx..
It's called Ultimate Look eyes by e.l.f and it contains 3 eyeshadow pots, 2 applicators, their lengthening & defining mascara in black brown, an eyeshadow brush, false lashes and glue, a brightening eye liner in
brown and a eyeshadow brush. It also gives instructions on the back of the box on how to create the ultimate look, which I shall be trying out. While I was shopping I saw another version with grey and black eye shadows, but I thought this one was perfect because it's the colours I normally wear. All this for £5.99! I was a very happy girly!

What did you get this weekend?

Thanks for reading!

The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Beautifying Oil Review

image
This is a new product from the Body Shop and I’m so happy they have brought it out because I really missed their spray bottles of dry oils which they seemed to stop selling a few years ago.
The Beautifying Oils are very similar to them, but seem even better! They come in a wide range of varieties including fruity scents such as Satsuma & Strawberry to more nutty & floral scents such as Shea and Moringa. You can check the full range here: http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/search/search.aspx?Search=beautifying%20oil&orderdesc=true
I chose the sweet lemon oil and it smells absolutely gorgeous and feels lovely on the skin. They also contain a blend of nut oils and marula oil which are extremely hydrating. The thing I like best about these is that they have a multitude of uses. You can use them all over on wet skin after you shower, put a tiny drop on your face for a healthy sheen, or even (this is what the sales advisor at The Body Shop told me) use it on dry hair before you go to bed then wash it of in the morning for an intense hair treatment.
They usually retail for £9 but are currently on offer for £6.75, be quick!
